The Garden is a safe haven that provides structured mental health services within the community to children and youth who are in need of psychoeducation to meet their mental health needs and to learn effective coping skills as well as life skills.
Throughout the year The Garden promotes mental health awareness through our annual events: Due to COVID restrictions all of these events were offered virtually, however we are open to exploring in-person events while taking necessary precautions.

July-Back to school Drive, BIPOC Mental Health Awareness

November - Harvest Drive
December- Toy drive
Our volunteers will be responsible for researching individuals/organizations who would be interested in the event, encouraging people to attend, promoting event with local media, responding to inquiries, volunteering on the day of the event and reporting to supervisors.

Description
The Garden also provides emergency and short-term care for children and youth experiencing a crisis. The short-term care and emergency services offer a safe home-like environment for children and youth to feel secure and to gain a sense of stability , adoption placement and support, counseling and mental health treatment, education support and services, independent living skills, mentoring, and family crisis intervention .
