Do you have a heart for people? Do you especially enjoy the elderly? Are you looking for ways to reconnect in the community?
If so, we have opportunities in various locations/areas for you to provide companionship for our patients. Just an hour or two per week makes such a big difference in someone's life.

Description
Hospice care is a specialized care that focuses on supporting you and your loved ones during an advanced illness. The emphasis is on comfort and quality of life, rather than finding a cure. Hospice care enables you to live each day to the fullest as comfortably and dignified as possible.
Heartland provides care for the body, mind and spirit. We encourage our patients to share their thoughts, hopes and concerns, so we can better meet their unique needs. Hospice benefit's covered services may include:
- Comforting care, provided by an interdisciplinary team
- Pain and symptom management
- Psychosocial and spiritual support
