Have you ever wanted to lend an ear to someone going through a very difficult time? Aurora at Home Hospice is looking for Bereavement Phone Call Volunteers, and it might just be the opportunity for you, especially if you'd like to volunteer from your own home anywhere in Manitowoc or Sheboygan County!
Please consider joining our wonderful group of Bereavement Phone Call volunteers! After the loss of a loved one, a specially-trained volunteer reaches out to the bereaved family to offer a listening ear and offer our bereavement resources. These "check-in-calls" are an important way of letting these families know that we are still thinking of them, and everyone grieves differently.
You will receive tailored hospice volunteer training and specialized Grief and Bereavement training. If this sounds like a meaningful opportunity to you, please contact Lexi Pirman Volunteer coordinator at lexi.pirman@aah.org for more information.
