What are Memory Bears?
Memory Bears are teddy bears made from the clothing of our hospice patients with the intention of gifting them to their loved ones when they pass away. Our memory bears may be "borne" from a favorite pair of pajamas, a special tee shirt or pair of shorts. Something that our patient has worn that has meaning.

Bristol Homecare & Hospice is looking for sewers and seamstresses who would like to help support this program. Good sewing skills are a must. We will happily provide stuffing, safety eyes as necessary and of course the clothing.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about this beautiful program and would like to help us create Legacy for our patients and families we would love to hear from you.

For more Information please call: Betty Burgess at 860-261-6390 or email her at bburgess@bristolhospital.org
