The Financial Empowerment Program provides low-to moderate-income individuals with group workshops, one-on-one financial skills counseling, and enrollment assistance in lending circles, to increase their knowledge of banking, savings, establishing credit and increasing household financial stability. builds individual and household capacity to improve credit, reduce debt, and increase savings. The Financial Empowerment Program Assistant will engage with students and program staff to support student success in increasing overall financial literacy and improving financial security.



The financial Empowerment Program Assistant will assist in intake assessments, preparing lesson plans, coordinating program activities, support staff in conducting 1:1 financial counseling sessions, providing technical assistance in creating budgets, enrolling in lending circles, and monitoring savings goals. Participant data collection and program data analysis using Salesforce database, assist with donor and organizational reporting materials.


This position requires fluency in English and Spanish, both written and oral.
