The Heart Walk is a fun family event where participants walk with friends, family members and co-workers and get moving together as they join more than a million people in more than 300 communities across the country in taking a stand against heart disease and stroke - the No. 1 and No. 5 killers of Americans. Each walker is raising money to help fund the valuable lifesaving research, education and advocacy efforts of the American Heart Association.
