Your role as a LoveBox volunteer is to provide support to a foster family. You can do this individually or as a small/larger group!
The 'wrap-around’ support that you provide enables caregivers to continue to do the important and meaningful work of being foster parents. You build relationships with the family you are matched with by spending quality time with all of them; playing games, sharing a meal, helping with homework - the possibilities are endless!
You can also create and deliver personal care packages based on their current practical needs. Lovebox volunteers are carefully matched with local families on our waiting list. We often tell our volunteers to think of themselves as the fun "auntie" or "uncle" who visits once a month to bring love, encouragement, and hope.
You would be assigned a Case Manager who would carefully match you with a family, and is a constant support and source of information as you navigate your Love Box volunteer journey.

Mission Statement
The Cleveland Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
Description
Our vision to ensure that every child, youth, and family in the foster care community has healthy, affirming, and lasting relationships. We do this by educating and empowering the local community and by recruiting compassionate, committed, and diverse volunteers to offer support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
Our dream is to open National Angels chapters in every metropolitan city in the nation so every single child in foster care in the United States will be supported and empowered to succeed. We believe our programs further the greater good of local communities and provide a real and tangible role to play within the foster care system.
Our motivation is to ensure every child feels a deep sense of belonging and care, every youth reaches their fullest potential and achieves their dreams, and every fostering family feels seen and supported along their journey.
