Everyone deserves a mentor. But when a child has lost a parent or sibling following military service, that need for another trusted adult is powerful. This is where Tuesday’s Children steps in to help connect a young person with a screened, trained adult mentor who will is committed to being a positive agent of change in the life of a child.
Our nationwide program matches youth with mentors who share common interests, personality traits and so much more. Our mentoring pairs spend several hours a month together, whether virtually, in-person or a hybrid of the two. While the Tuesday’s Children team will provide some ideas for activities - such as volunteering, preparing a meal, gaming, painting, taking a field trip or attending sporting or arts events - the decision of how to spend time together is up to the mentor and child.4 More opportunities with Tuesday's Children
