Time Commitment:
Standing Board Meetings (2 hours per month): 3rd Thursdays from 5:15 - 7 pm on Zoom.
As-Needed Board Meetings (1-2 hours per month): 1st Thursdays from 5 - 7 pm on Zoom.
Board Committee Work (at least 2 hours per month): as needed, dates/times determined by each Committee's members.
Communications (1 hour per month): Board Email correspondence and Reviewing Homeless Round Table Coalition Meeting Notes.
Board Member Roles & Responsiblities:
Attend and fully participate in the work of monthly Board meetings, Board Development Trainings and one or more Board Committees.
Approve and monitor the organization's programs and services.
Actively engage with fundraising and resource development efforts.
Conduct performance appraisals for the organization's Executive Director.
Ensure strong fiduciary oversight and financial management of the organization.
To act in the best interest of the organization and excuse myself from discussions and votes when I have a conflict.
Identify critical resources toward the sustainability of the organization.
Attend Homeless Roundtable Coalition at least once per month (optional).
