Looking to have individuals that are interested in working with students and community members in our Gardens of Hope. We have a few within the Palm Beach County parks and recreation department. Our Jupiter, Florida Riverbend Park is a property that needs several volunteers to visit and tend the "farmstead garden" throughout the year. Volunteers can sign up and assist in a number of ways. Please call us to find out more at 561.501.3538.

We also have several gardens at various school properties. The help needed occurs around the 1:30 - 4:30 timeframe, and you would assisting a teacher, the student club or aftercare kids; average grade is third.

All tasks can be one or more of the following: Tending a garden, planting and harvesting, being a hands on mentor to students through the various stages of gardening, the projects that are part of the curriculum, or any on site events.

We do have events during the year, and on those occasions, an extra pair of hands is helpful.

If you are interested in helping us set up speaking opportunities, or like finding grands and community funding, your help would be immeasurable!

Looking forward to speaking with you.
