Family Centers is looking for Volunteers to help plan and participate in our Community Health Fair on August 12th
Volunteering would involve:
- Participating in a few planning meetings
- Assist with grass root marketing - placing flyers/yard signs out in the community, going out and letting community know about the event increase awareness
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the Event
- Giving tours at the event
- Learn about outreach and event planning

Family Centers' mission is to empower children, adults, families and communities to realize their potential. Our NAEYC accredited preschools, school-based social work, parental education and adolescent counseling services, give families the resources they need to ensure their children have the bright beginnings they deserve. A comprehensive network of counseling and support services is also instrumental in helping families in crisis work toward a successful resolution. Vocational training, housing resources, counseling and self sufficiency programs also help low-income people and those with long-term mental illness realize their dreams of living independently. Meanwhile, our senior outreach programs encourage lifelong learning, socialization and support.
