ORGANIZATION: LITA (Love Is The Answer)

Can you visit with an isolated older adult once a week? This volunteer opportunity has been adapted due to the Covid 19 pandemic, from visiting together inside your newly matched friend's home, to a virtual (phone or video chat ) or at a physical distance outside your newly matched friend's home. Enjoy human social connection but still keep safe!

LITA is partnering with Vivalon to reach out to lonely older adults who are homebound and see no one all week long. Volunteers will make one social visit a week for about 45 minutes to one resident. LITA will match you with the resident and provide training and ongoing support so that you feel comfortable visiting and connecting with your new friend.
