At Mercy Kids Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald Family Room provides families with the essentials of home, just steps away from their child’s hospital room. This special space, which is open 12 hours a day and staffed by more than 200 volunteers, offers showers, laundry facilities, a small kitchen with complimentary snacks and coffee, TV, computers with internet access, and a quiet area.
RMHC St. Louis is in need of additional volunteers to help provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere to patient families in the Ronald McDonald Family Room, inside Mercy Kids Children’s Hospital. Three-hour shifts are available for both individuals and pairs, on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
