Join HomeAid in putting Thanksgiving meals on the tables of people living HomeAid shelters and affordable housing during the season of giving and breaking bread with loved ones.
Our annual Thanksgiving Meal Drive is a community-based donation drive aimed at making 600 meal boxes for the thousands of people experiencing homelessness in our community that call HomeAid housing projects their home. Each meal box contains enough food to feed up to 4 people.
Since 2019, our Thanksgiving Meal Drive has brought in more than 32,000 pounds of food which have allowed for over 1,400 meal boxes to be made. These meal boxes have fed more than 5,000 people that have called HomeAid’s housing projects their home.

Ending Homelessness through housing, community outreach, and education.
In 1989, HomeAid Orange County was founded with the goal of ending homelessness by leveraging the trades within the building industry, under the legal name Shelter Providers of Orange County, Inc.
Established by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, OC Chapter, HomeAid acts primarily as a developer of housing for non-profit service providers, as well as a consultant on housing development projects, done by other public and private entities, that serve those experiencing homelessness.
With project savings of more than 30% of market costs on each housing development, HomeAid truly is the non-profit for non-profits.
