2022 Danville Heart Walk Volunteer - American Heart Association

ORGANIZATION: American Heart Association

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Our volunteer shifts are 7am-10am, 8am-11am and 9am-12pm. You can work multiple shifts if you would like! These are some of the areas we need volunteers to help with:

Setup Squad
Help staff setup the event.

Teardown Troopers
Help clean and pack up after the event.

Located near parking lots to welcome and direct our walkers.

Registration Warriors
Welcome participants as they arrive on site. Volunteers at this tent will also be available to answer any general event questions and help direct them to tents as needed.

Heart Man
Be Heart Man and pose for photo opportunities with teams.

Pooch Parade
Hand out bandanas to any of the dogs that would like to participate in the Pooch Parade.

Start/Finish Line Hosts
Pass out water and cheer on the walkers with pom-poms and cowbells. Be "Heart Man" for photo opportunities for walkers.

Route Marshalls
Direct walkers to turn at the turns. Pass out water and cheer on the walkers with pom-poms and cowbells. Write motivational messages along the route with chalk.

Tent Hosts
Help provide assistance to sponsored tents.
