Join our efforts to improve virtual education for K-12 students nationwide!

Backpack Tutoring was formed as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic bringing virtual learning to the forefront of education. Through free, virtual, 1-1 tutoring sessions, Backpack's team members work to provide quality academic support to every K-12 student. This effort is largely supported by a 200+ growing volunteer base, through which we are able to effectively tutor and provide worksheets to all students nationwide.

Worksheets are an important part of our mission to provide effective 1-1 academic support. Once a worksheet has been approved and uploaded, it may be used as a supplemental learning tool for live sessions. It may also be used for our asynchronous academic support opportunities, whereby the student may not have the means to learn through live zoom sessions. In such cases, worksheets play a critical role in facilitating active learning during asynchronous tutoring.

Volunteers may choose K-12 subjects that they are comfortable with, and are not restricted by subject with respect to the worksheets they create. We look forward to hearing from you!
