Volunteers are the Heart of Hospice & Community Care

Hospice & Community Care's largest annual fundraiser is the Labor Day Auction, a two-day event held at the Solanco Fairgrounds in Quarryville on Saturday, August 31st & Monday, September 2nd. All proceeds raised go towards supporting patients and families in our community with end of life care and grief support services.

The Labor Day Auction is indeed a labor of love. In addition to needing volunteer support on the two Auction Days, we are also seeking volunteers to help with "Set-Up Week" from August 26th - 30th. Throughout set-up week, volunteers help to unload & set-up tables and chairs, unload thousands of donated auction items and set-up several auction buildings in preparation for the main event. Lastly, we are seeking volunteers to help breakdown the event on Tuesday, September 3rd.

We're looking for volunteers who can help out anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Each day will begin at 9:00am and go until 5:00pm. Come join a special group of people working together to support a fun event which directly benefits patients and families in our community!
