Springwell is an essential part of the social safety net for thousands of older adults each year. Springwell has never stopped working diligently to continue to provide services to our senior community through the pandemic. We have, however, faced unique and unanticipated challenges, especially in our home-delivered meals program, which has suffered from staffing issues due to the closure of a key community partner. Springwell responded by recruiting temporary volunteers who are willing to provide home delivery of meals. Even with re-opening activities, we continue to need volunteers to fill this vital role. We especially need volunteers who can work in the towns of Brookline, Newton, Watertown and Wellesley. Shifts are typically from 10AM-1PM M-F. You choose when and how often.

If you are: at least 18 years old, have a reliable car and a clean driving record; able to lift up to 25 pounds; and are able to provide these services, consistent with guidance we receive from the CDC, WHO and other governmental agencies, recognizing you may come into contact with high-risk members of our community and others, please contact us!
