Our volunteers greet members and visitors coming into the hospital. They assist with wheelchair support and manage the visitor guidelines. They are front line volunteers there to help our members and provide a caring and compassionate experience.
Screening questions are required for health care facilities, and volunteers assist with asking these questions of our visitors.
Volunteers should apply through our website at www.kpnwvolunteer.org/kwmc then select the correct category of adult, college or high school.
Our positions require availability for four-five hour shifts Monday through Friday between 7 am and 7 pm.
All Kaiser volunteers must have been vaccinated for COVID and be able to provide proof of vaccine. All volunteers must pass a background and drug check as well.

Description
Kaiser Westside Medical Center volunteers partner with staff to provide our members with a truly patient/family centered experience. We provide meaningful experiences for committed volunteers. We have been recognized by the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, School to Work program in the Northwest Region for achievements in our department.
We are looking for volunteers to come to our facility located in Oregon to partner in maintaining our high patient satisfaction scores-the highest in Kaiser hospitals. As a newer facility, we provide technology for our patients and are always seeking opportunities to enhance the experience that members need and expect.

- Adults need to commit to one year with four hours a week. College need to commit to nine months with fours hours a week. High school students need to commit to six months and a minimum of two hours a week. The greeter role requires four hours.
