Quick Overview: FoodCycle LA is now seeking a video animator to assist in the creation of video graphics that help us to tell our story!
Mission: Foodcycle LA works to recover food from all over LA County, and it involves a large cast of dedicated community members. We want a better media toolkit to help us tell our story and show the public the need for and story of food recovery in Los Angeles.
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: Work is done remotely, we're looking for someone who can volunteer 4-6 hours per week, or more depending on availability. You will work with our new and existing digital materials and with guidance from our Media manager to create usable graphics for our campaigns.
Requirements: Experience in animation and graphics.
Additional Information: 49.1 Million Americans are food insecure. We work to change that by diverting and redistributing food that would otherwise end up in landfills into the mouths of those who need it most.

Description
FoodCycle is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to help further our mission in fighting hunger and ending food waste. We need volunteers on an ongoing basis to recover food from various restaurants, grocery stores, and food markets around Los Angeles. In addition to Food Recovery Drivers, we are looking for assistance building up our social media presence across all platforms.
