CoachArt Goes Virtual!
We’re using online tools to offer free arts, athletics, and STEAM programming to families impacted by chronic illness and to give our community new opportunities to make a difference.
In your neighborhood, a child impacted by chronic illness is hoping to learn the skills that YOU have to offer. With just 1 hour a week, for 4 weeks, YOU can make a difference in that student’s life by coaching them in an activity of your choice. Bonus if you are looking to coach Ceramics/Sculpture, Painting/Drawing, Arts and Crafts, Martial Arts, Fitness, Drums, Guitar, Piano, Voice Acting/Theater, Hip Hop Dance, Baking, Cooking, or Photography!
As part of our matching process with volunteers and students, we use the power of extracurricular activities such as painting and cooking, as a source for the self-expression and empowerment that our students need.
All matches are made in a virtual 1-on-1 or group setting and are tailored to fit your background as a volunteer, according to your activity interests, location, and time availability.
So whether through music or sports, dance, or poetry (and everything in between), the opportunity is there for you to make a lasting impact today!

Mission Statement
CoachArt’s mission is to create a transformative arts and athletics community for families impacted by childhood chronic illness.
Description
CoachArt is a non-profit organization offering free lessons in the arts and athletics to children impacted by chronic illness, ages 5-18. Our vision is that one day every family impacted by chronic illness will be connected to a community of support and an opportunity to learn and grow together.
We partner with talented volunteers and arts/athletics programs to offer lessons in music, art, yoga, photography, dance, soccer - and more! Our CoachArt team matches each individual child with our volunteers and program partners, who provide 8 week lessons in a shared activity of choice.
