Role: Fundraising Campaign Manager (FCM)

Location: Local to the Spokane/CDA Area

Hours Required: 10 hours a month

Summary:

This is a volunteer position. The Fundraising Campaign Manager (FCM) will oversee the progress of community fundraisers and organize our quarterly fundraising events. This person must enjoy writing, be capable of conducting basic research, be computer savvy (or is willing to learn!), be able to communicate in a timely and efficient manner, and be organized. This person will report to the Director of Fundraising.

Key Results Area #1 - Event Planning

• Works with the Director of Fundraising to develop fundraising events and ideas
• Communicates with the Marketing team to develop graphics and advertisements
• Develops infrastructure for different fundraising events including things like:
• Donation management and organization
• Details - where, when, who, what, etc.
• Recruits and manages volunteers involved with planning or day of activities
• Communications with the public or businesses regarding event planning
• Passionate about our mission and can convey information in an easy to understand way
• Can inspire others to be excited about fundraising events (donors, our community, and volunteers)

• Communicate regularly and in a timely manner with the Director of Fundraising
• Be proactive and self motivated
• Be willing to work with others and take constructive feedback
• Proficient in computer and phone skills
• Show initiative and independence in completing tasks
• Able to lead and direct other volunteers
