Our Mission: We remove barriers to health with relentless compassion so that no one faces illness and injustice alone.
Our Vision: Health For All
Every week our Chicken Soup Brigade staff and regular weekly volunteers work together to make, package, bag, and deliver medically tailored meals and groceries to clients. We serve homebound seniors and people living with serious health conditions across King, Snohomish, and Island County.
Where you come in: Lifelong's Food and Nutrition Program needs volunteers to prepare and pack grocery bags in our warehouse. The warehouse is the foundation of our work in getting food to clients who are living with and at risk of serious illnesses. Get a workout in while making sure food gets out to people who need it! With nearly 1.5 million pounds of food coming through our door every year, we need all hands on deck to help process the donations.
Available Shift times:
Monday-Friday: 9:30 am - 12 pm and 1:30pm - 4 pm
Ages: Ages 16+, 16-17 with a parental consent form which we will provide

Mission Statement
We remove barriers to health with relentless compassion so that no one faces illness and injustice alone.
Description
LIFELONG HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN ORGANIZATION THAT STANDS UP FOR COMMUNITIES FACING ILLNESS AND INJUSTICE.
Everyone deserves the chance to live their healthiest life, but that vision is out of reach for far too many people. For nearly 40 years, Lifelong has fought for marginalized communities with relentless compassion-because no one should have to battle stigma, judgment, or the devastating effects of illness alone. Our wraparound care model supports the whole person by breaking down barriers and improving access to nutritious food, stable housing, and vital health resources for people living with diabetes, HIV, kidney disease, and other life-challenging illnesses. Our community support network fills the gaps in broken systems and ensures that everyone has an equitable opportunity to thrive.
