Monthly, at lunchtime, some first responders, Department of Child and Protective Services, therapists and others that work with children who have been abused, meet to work on the criminal child abuse cases that are open. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to prepare lunch for them to eat as they tackle this tough job.
Grab a couple of friends and have fun cooking lunch for them, knowing that you have made their jobs easier!

Hill Country Crisis Council offers victims of domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault a multitude of services. We have an emergency shelter, a children's advocacy center, prevention programs in area schools, counseling and advocacy services, hospital accompaniment as well as working with area law enforcement and district courts in hopes of providing justice to the victims.
