Shop out Hunger is Operation Food Search’s largest annual food drive. This regional event collects a large number of non-perishable foods that provides nutrition to over 200,000 people a month.

On Saturday, August 12
, Operation Food Search will come together with our local family-owned grocery stores, Schnucks, Dierbergs, and Straub's Markets, to host Shop Out Hunger.

Many volunteers are needed to position themselves at grocery stores throughout the St. Louis bi-state area to encourage shoppers to donate food as they shop on Saturday, August 12.

We are seeking at least two volunteers per store and per shift. Some stores have different requirements than other and those will be explained once you are assigned a store.
