Role: Money Maker Minion

Boring Title: Business Partnership Liaison (BPL)

Location: Spokane/CDA area)

Hours Required: 3 hours weekly


Summary:

This is a volunteer position. This person must enjoy writing, be capable of conducting basic research, be computer savvy (or is willing to learn!), be able to communicate in a timely and efficient manner, and be organized. BPLs are responsible for working with businesses and companies nationwide and inquiring about in-kind or monetary donations to the Rescue. Liaisons will coordinate with companies to process donations, maintain communication with donor organizations, and ensure that our business partners continue to be engaged while supporting us. This person will report to the Director of Fundraising.


Key Results Area #1 - Consumer & Business Donations

  • Seek out corporate and possibly consumer sponsors to gain monetary and supply donations, such as food and medical supplies
  • Coordinate delivery and communicate the needs of the Rescue to community and business sponsors
  • Maintain complete records on corporate donors via an online tracking software
  • Seek companies who have charitable giving matching programs
  • Find companies who will allow us to come in and share our mission, often they have a fair or specific charity day
  • Creates sponsorship proposals to formally offer to form a relationship with companies

  • Communicate regularly and in a timely manner with the Director of Fundraising
  • Enjoys building relationships with other team members and other professionals
