Do you want to serve your community while protecting the environment and getting professional experience with an environmental nonprofit?
Whether you are passionate about conservation, land access, or sustainable agriculture, TerraCorps is here to help you serve local communities and build professional skills through transformative experiences.
TerraCorps is an AmeriCorps affiliated environmental nonprofit preparing and mobilizing emerging leaders to help communities gain access to and conserve land for people and nature. We do this by partnering with a network of 40+ nonprofits in Massachusetts and Rhode Island focused on community needs related to local land conservation and sustainable agriculture. These partners act as service sites for a new cohort of up to 60 AmeriCorps service members annually. Service members are paired with a site supervisor who provides guidance and mentorship while they learn to manage community programs and projects over a full-time (38 hour/week), 11-month positions from August 26th, 2024- July 25th, 2025.
Members serve in one of five coordinator roles focused on:
· Land Conservation
· Land Stewardship
· Sustainable Agriculture
· Community Engagement
· Youth Education

Description
Located in Lowell, MA, TerraCorps is an AmeriCorps affiliated start-up environmental non-profit growing a more equitable ecosystem of people and organizations to protect and steward land for broader good. Working at the intersection of land conservation, sustainable agriculture and food justice, we seek to bridge the gap between the urban, rural and suburban land movements historically segregated by socio-economic divides. Through our generative service, training and partnership model, we cultivate future conservation leaders and offer immediate capacity support to the local organizations they serve.
