We are seeking volunteers to make a difference in our community and in people’s lives! The options when volunteering are endless and we always think outside the box to bring smiles to patients and our community.
Direct Patient, Professional Direct Care, Bereavement, Office/Admin, Auxiliary, Special Occasion, Youth, and Creative Arts/Crafts are all options that we offer as services for volunteers seeking to make a change in someone else’s life.

Description
Preferred Hospice has offered services for 20 years. To patients and families throughout Missouri. Volunteers are an integral part of our services, the different volunteer roles include: direct patient, office, and special occasion. Our vision as a group is to work together to give patients the care and compassion that they deserve.

- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- Orientation is about 2/3 hours long, but is able to be split up, once a month visit to patient once training is completed
- Car insurance
