About Life Journey Partners of America, Inc
28610 N 154th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85262, US
Life Journey Partners of America intends to create a network of volunteers to address gaps in caregiving through education, care and support of family caregivers of individuals who are physically unable to remain in their homes without such caregiving due to physical or mental disabilities regardless of their ability to pay. The network will grow into a Supportive Community whose purpose is to address the needs of those providing care, whether paid or volunteer, and those who require care.
Life Journey Partners is a new organization developed to address the growing Caregiving Crisis in our country. We are individuals who care deeply about the Caregiving Community and those they care for. Because of our varied work experiences in the fields of Medicine and Nursing, Elder Law and Care Coordination and Advocacy, we know that we need to take action now, to develop the right program for this moment in time for those who need our help to literally survive. We are currently enlisting volunteers from all areas of Phoenix to form our Caregiving Support Community. We know that asking individuals to volunteer volumes of hours caring for the most vulnerable is a lot to ask. We are working on procuring gift cards and service certificates (oil change, acupuncture, massage, etc) to support those who graciously answer our call for help. As a community, we hope to organize potlucks and group activities to gain the support we need from each other. And, lastly, we will offer webinars or in-person inservices to keep abreast of the most current information related to our work.
