We are seeking a Technology Director who can bring talent, experience and expertise to help advance our virtual mission. Directors must exercise a strong sense of professionalism and high moral standards, maintaining our mission and vision statements. All of our meetings are held entirely online, all hours are fulfilled virtually.

Our Board of Directors is an international team of holistic health professionals dedicated to serving our vision of total global wellness. We are currently seeking Board of Directors members who can serve for a 1 year term and commit to 2 hours per month of service.

The Technology Director coordinates and supports the successful adoption and adaptation of technology tools. The Technology Director will assess the need for, and appropriately initiate, maintain, relevant technology tools with the objective of enhancing healing, teaching and learning. The Director will work to inform the board on current best practices in instructional technology, specifically virtual qualitative/quantitative classroom assessment tools and techniques and have a desire to develop such knowledge. The Director will manage a group of volunteers each month. You must have a high level of technical skill and a willingness to jump into the design, development, delegation and implementation of our multimedia course material.

Collaborate, regularly meet & train faculty, staff, volunteers and Board of Directors in appropriate application of online tools. Solicit input to inform future modifications and/or new components. Work with Pleiadian Institute Director to assist faculty in pilot efforts teaching online. Evaluate the need for and assist in the planning, delegation and implementation of new technology in teaching initiatives as instructor needs evolve over time. Participate in long-term planning, working with the other associate directors to design and implement unified programs and services.

Qualifications:

Previous relevant experience or advanced studies in a related field is preferred. You should demonstrate superior technical abilities. This is a virtual position. We meet once every month on the first Monday from 5 pm. - 7 pm. PST. These meetings are a requirement, we provide you with the dates ahead of time. You are able to be absent for up to three meetings annually with notice. All meetings are held online and or/ over the phone. You must have access to an active internet connection.
