Give Kids Hope is looking for a volunteer coordinator who can help recruit and interview new potential volunteers.

  • Familiarize new potential volunteers with our non-profit organization and our ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules
  • Recruit new volunteers via online platforms and social media
  • Use Google applications to screen and keep records of potential volunteers
  • We are looking for a responsible, tech-savvy volunteer with good social skills for the position
  • Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
We are always in need of volunteers. This is an ongoing and completely flexible position

To provide financial assistance, outreach, and community services to children with cancer, their families, and other underserved children and families on Long Island.

Description

Give Kids Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides assistance to less fortunate children and families on Long Island. Our outreach center, food pantry, and other necessities are completely free to those in need. We offer free monthly events, birthday assistance, holiday assistance, and provide support to local shelters on Long Island. Our funding comes from generous donations and sales at our Thrift Store, and we were able to help 25,000 families in 2021!
