We are growing and we need many more foster families! If you are interested, please email us at DogTrailRides@Gmail.com and tell us the kind of dogs/puppies that you might be interested in fostering. We bring dogs from Texas every 4-6 weeks. Our basic adoption procedure is:

• Post the dog online to the public;
• Speak with the potential adopter;
• The potential adopter meets the foster dog; and
• If it appears to be a good match, the adopter signs our form contract, pays the adoption fee, and takes the dog with him/her. All adopters have 30 days in which to return the dog to an available foster for a full refund if they conclude that the dog is not the best match for them.

We provide our fosters with any needed:

• Crate
• Food
• Bed
• Etc

In addition to our fosters’ ability to adopt their foster dog out by word of mouth or posting their foster dog on their own social media or by word of mouth to friends and family, we empower our fosters to adopt out our dogs on our behalf by:

• Posting the foster dogs on AdoptAPet.com, Petfinder.com and our Facebook pages;
• Forwarding potential adopters’ emails to fosters of the dog in which they are interested;
• Providing the necessary paperwork
• Providing payment information
• Assisting the foster family by answering any questions they may have about our conversation-based adoption procedure in selecting loving homes.
