Join the cast! Welcome our guests as they prepare to be entertained in the Ogunquit Playhouse celebrating our 92nd season!

Volunteers have been the face of the Playhouse for nearly 100 years. These roles help to deliver our "best in class" customer service experience in making visitors feel the warmth and sense of history at this icon of the Northeast.

Volunteer opportunities will begin Spring 2025 with training, and shows begin early May 2025.

Join us for our 92nd year of creating Broadway quality theater for audiences in the northeast, the 2025 season at the historic Ogunquit Playhouse!

About Ogunquit Playhouse

Location:

42 Main St., Ogunquit, ME 03907, US

Mission Statement

Building upon a legacy of leadership in American theatre, the Ogunquit Playhouse produces world-class performances, cultivates new works for the stage, and preserves an iconic and historic playhouse for future generations.

Description

Home to world-class theatre, Ogunquit Playhouse has an 89 year legacy of creating top-notch productions complete with professional casts and creative teams, and stars of screen and stage, hand-picked for each production.

On a warm summer evening in 1933, from a renovated garage in Ogunquit’s town square, Ogunquit Playhouse opened its doors for the first time. The next 85 years would see the theatre grow into a renowned and lauded regional theatre: earning national and international recognition for its productions, in addition to having the historic building deemed a structure of National Significance on the National Register of Historic Places.

Today, Ogunquit Playhouse has grown from a 10-week summer theatre to a true regional theatre, producing between five and seven musicals annually over a 24-week period on its own stage, as well as a holiday show at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH for an additional four weeks.
