Bring your passion for gardening and join our team as a local garden volunteer where you’ll positively impact our community, our organization, and those in need. We’re looking for hands-on local volunteers with a passion for gardening to assist with our Community Garden Program. The garden volunteer will work in the garden weekday evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-7:00pm in North City. Materials and equipment provided, however volunteers are welcome to bring their own equipment.

Tasks include:

• Organizing the shed and green house
• Cleaning the plots, grass area, and surrounding parameters of trash.
• Weeding, watering, planting, and harvesting weekly.

We are looking for leaders who are willing to make a long-term commitment.

The Fit and Food Connection is a non-profit organization serving our neighbors in the St. Louis community. We provide wellness offerings to low-income families and empower our clients to get healthy through our free fitness and nutrition programs.
