ORGANIZATION: Ten Thousand Villages State College

Ten Thousand Villages is more than a store. We're a global maker-to-market movement that breaks the cycle of generational poverty and ignites social change. As a pioneer of fair trade, we do business differently, putting people and planet first.

Volunteers are needed to help in the retail store, with duties including:
- Learning product details and artisan stories
- Greeting customers
- Sharing information about the store and its mission
- Assisting customers and offering suggestions
- Unpacking orders and pricing products
- Stocking shelves and straightening merchandise
- Arranging and moving displays
- Light housekeeping, including dusting and sweeping

1 Shift

  • 12:00 PM to 06:00 PM
    We ask that our volunteers commit to spending 8 hours per month with us. Volunteer shifts can be either 2 or 4 hours in length. Volunteers will spend
