Mission Statement

Tomahawk Community Thrift Shop (TCTS) operates to grant 75% - 80% of profits to area non-profit organizations to enable their missions in the area.

Description

TCTS operates a non-profit thrift shop that benefits the Tomahawk WI area in multiple ways. Our all volunteer staff is happy to assist shoppers in finding the perfect treasure, clothing, household and sporting goods. All of our inventory is donated and our staff is all volunteers, which helps keep our overhead to a minimum. At least75% of profits are granted out to federally recognized charitable organizations in the Tomahawk area.

TCTS opened the doors in July 2019 and have outgrown our space twice. June 2022 we reopened in our newly remodeled location at 328N. 4th St, Tomahawk, WI.
Our profit sharing grants have helped nine (9) charitable organizations with $ 22,534 through the end of 2021. With our expansion, the grants will continue to increase, allowing us to help more charitable organizations focus on their missions and not on fundraising.
