Join the South San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department for a morning of fresh air, beautiful views, and meaningful habitat restoration on Sign Hill!
Many rare plant and animal species live on Sign Hill’s native grasslands, including the endangered mission blue butterfly. Help us conserve and restore their habitat by installing native plants and removing invasive plants! Sign Hill Stewards will do important work while also learning more about the wildlife in their backyard.
When:
every other Friday and the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9am-12pm
Where:
Meet at the Sign Hill parking lot on Ridgeview Ct. We hike into the restoration area together.
What to bring:
Comfortable clothes for working outside including long pants and long sleeves
Comfortable, sturdy shoes (the work areas can be steep and uneven)
