Walk for Literacy Volunteer Opportunities 2022
Traveling Stories is a San Diego-based nonprofit that empowers children to achieve their dreams. Our Virtual StoryTent program matches students in 1st-3rd grade with trained reading mentors for weekly, one-on-one reading sessions via Zoom.
The Walk for Literacy is a family-friendly charity walk happening Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Chollas Lake Park. Proceeds from the event will benefit Traveling Stories’ reading and mentorship programs for local children.
The Event Sponsorship Coordinator takes the lead on event sponsorship acquisition by inviting businesses to sponsor the event. They also monitor and update the Sponsorship spreadsheet, track sponsorship payments, collect marketing assets from sponsors, and ensure that all sponsorship benefits are fulfilled.
