Volunteers in this area help provide a warm and welcoming presence to visitors. Greeters will be stationed at the hospital entrance to welcome, direct and engage patients and families, distribute general information, assist Welcome Desk and Registration staff. Volunteers assigned to this area will work with the patient through the admitting process such as escorting patients to a procedure, and monitor activities in waiting room.
Qualifications: Volunteers should be self-motivated, engaged, friendly, and comfortable talking to patients/visitors.
Essential Functions:1. Greet patients and visitors.
2. Answer questions and provide information about the hospital and visiting/dining
hours.
3. Escort patients and/or families to various destinations in the hospital.
4. Escort patients to their appointment site after registering.

- afternoon / 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM CST
- morning / 08:00 AM to 11:45 AM CST
