Recruiting Organization: Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program
Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program (ENVP) in Tucson since 2004, is now the 2nd largest neighborhood association helping seniors in Tucson. We serve over 400 senior clients in need of transportation and requests continue to increase. Our clients depend on us for free transportation to get to their scheduled appointments and out for other necessary errands. Help a Tucson Senior live independently by becoming a volunteer driver providing reliable, dependable transportation to medical appointments or other errands such as pharmacy or grocery shopping. Our friendly office volunteers call at least 4 days in advance to schedule trips so you can accept or decline based on your availability. There is no required monthly minimum and most trips are 2 to 3 hours. In addition to a caring, helpful attitude you must maintain a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a safe driving record.
