ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army Metro Chicago

  • What: Working with children in the growing and thriving music program. May include: teaching piano, guitar, vocal and/or music techniques to students at a variety of levels.
  • When: Thursdays from 6:00pm- 8:00pm.
  • Who: Healthy adults age 18+ with basic music competencies.

And, The Salvation Army is delivering the most critical services -- food, shelter, emergency assistance and disaster relief.

In communities throughout Chicago and the surrounding five-county area, we extend emergency and supportive assistance from 28 corps community centers, 80 service extension units, the Emergency Disaster Services Center, residential programs, mobile units, and several counseling sites.
