Make someone smile by simply giving some of your time! Patients love to see smiling faces. and just chat and listen to them, Sit outside and go for a walk with them.
ViaQuest Hospice is in need of volunteers to spend time with our patients. Companionship visits are simply time shared with a patient, on your schedule. Conversation, life review, sharing memories, watching a movie--whatever helps a patient make the most of the day.
Volunteers must attend a ViaQuest Hospice orientation to learn about hospice. Orientations are scheduled monthly at the Lafayette office, or at a time convenient for you. Make a difference--volunteer with ViaQuest!
