Are you at a point in your life where you are able to give some time and attention to others to enhance the quality of their lives?
Do you feel blessed to have the things you have and want to help others?
Have you had an experience with hospice and value what they do?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then Grace Hospice would love to talk to you!
We are currently seeking loving, dedicated caring people who know the value of what human connection and caring can do in order to meet the needs of a patient in need of companionship.
Whether you’ve had a family connection to hospice care and want to give back, or are interested in learning more about how to support and comfort those in their final days, I encourage you to explore this truly rewarding volunteer opportunity.
Volunteers are afforded specialized training, given Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed, become an integral part of the Grace Hospice care team and are provided direct support by the Volunteer Coordinator.
As a Grace Hospice Volunteer you will be trained in:
- Hospice basics
- Spirituality and the dying patient
- Palliative care
- Effective communication
- How to assist the Alzheimer's patient
- How to effectively comfort the family
and much, much more!
For more information on what you can do for hospice and what Grace Hospice can do for you, contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 888-978-6142 or mraymond@ghospice.com.
