Harmony Cares Hospice formerly Grace Hospice, is currently seeking Volunteers to serve our patients in and around the Racine and surrounding areas.
Hospice services are designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of a terminal illness. At Harmony Cares Hospice, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our Volunteers play a key role in our mission. Our hospice program strives to go beyond the physical needs of the patient. Harmony Cares Hospice ensures that our patients will spend their final days of their journey in comfort and with dignity.

Our Volunteers share their time and talents in order to offer companionship to our patients, while easing the burden that may be felt by their family members during this difficult time. Respite care, which is a given time to provide caregivers a break, is an important facet of Grace Hospice Volunteer services.
There are many ways in which you, as a Harmony Cares Hospice Volunteer, may provide care that affords a quality of life that outweighs the quantity of day. All Volunteers are provided training and are fully supported by the Volunteer Coordinator.

Description
Harmony Cares Hospice formerly Grace Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals who are willing to provide emotional support and companionship to our patients and their families experiencing Hospice. Volunteers are a vital part of the interdisciplinary team and truly are the heart of our organization. In addition to placing friendly visits, volunteers can also assist with bereavement support, caregiver relief (respite), running of errands, special event planning, veteran to veteran outreach, pet, reiki, music and massage therapies, office support - and more!
