My name is Jasmine Fraijo and I am the Programs Director at a nonprofit organization, Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, in Roseville, CA. Our mission is to support children with cancer and their families with emotional, educational, and financial support while increasing awareness and funding research toward a cure.
As a part of our Family Navigator Program services, we offer joy-filled experiences to families touched by childhood cancer. As an initial touch to families, we offer a "Hope Chest" (family care package) which includes a personalized blanket for the kiddo in treatment, as well as personalized goodies such as toys, books, educational items and more for them and their siblings.
At this time, we have a severe need of blankets for teen boys.
I am in reaching out in hopes of getting more information as to how we can possibly receive blankets from volunteers to support our mission and fulfill this need.

Description
Volunteers make blankets and deliver them to local area shelters, hospitals, fostercare agencies for children from 1 day to 18 years old to give them comfort.
All ages welcome to volunteer. Community service hours are given, as well. Children, scouts, schools, churches, inmates - if you want to make blankets from your heart - we would love to have you volunteer!
