Our volunteers take member requests at their convenience. I post weekly requests online, and the volunteers login to choose which they'd like to take. Member requests are transporting to doctors appointments, grocery shopping for them, or small tasks around their homes. Requests can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the task. Our volunteers go through an interview process, and background check prior to being offered tasks to take. The requests take place during the week, Monday-Friday daytime hours.
