We seek experienced business professionals who are passionate about the environment and, after having visited our website, understand the potential impact of our mission. Ideal candidates will be hands-on, willing to lend insights garnered over years of diverse experience, utilize their business community network to introduce Upcycle4Good to appropriate connections, and brainstorm along with others on the U4G team to drive our success. We are a small group of novices in the nonprofit arena, so guidance in our technical / specialized business management will be appreciated as well.

Mission Statement
Preserve the Environment; Improve Lives. We are a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) that introduces businesses having unneeded items of value with nonprofits that put these items to use. Redirecting goods that have residual value away from landfills and into the hands of people that need a little help.
Description
Started when one of the co-founders was working at a hotel while in university, he stumbled upon a stack of mini-fridges that were on their way to a landfill because they were dented or scratched -- unsightly for the hotel clientele. He stopped the process & redirected the fridges to a local school and hospital. The idea was born: let's find other businesses that have things they no longer need -- items that still have "life" left -- and introduce the business to a nonprofit or developing community that will put the items to use. Voila -- Preserving the environment while helping improve lives.
