Teaching Program
As our main focus is education, we need help in teaching; hence volunteers with teaching qualification of English, Mathematics, Geography, Physics subjects is welcomed to teach in primary or secondary school in Moshi, Kilimanjaro


Counselling Program Tanzania is still lacking behind in counselling programs. FEF is looking to change that by having counselling projects, hence any volunteer with counselling expertise is welcomed to help our community in areas such as marriage and family, children development, pre-marital relations, grief and loss, education and learning as well career choice and development. Volunteer will also have a chance to provide counselling sessions in schools and help learners to develop a sense of self awareness. Also equip teachers with counselling skills which can be applied in assisting learners with problems.

Physical education School children need physical education to develop healthy bodies and activate their brains. A volunteer willing and able to teach sports and games is welcome to volunteer with us. NB. A volunteer does not need require bachelor’s degree in physical education but ability to guide and supervise children in sports and games.


Building Projects FEF also requires volunteers to assist in building schools infrastructure like classroom and latrines NB. A volunteer do not necessary require construction experience, the project is perfect for any person keen to use their hands and physical energy in serving the community.


Fundraising FEF is also welcoming anyone willing to volunteer in organizing fundraising campaign in online platforms such as GO FUND ME so as to help kids who are unable to afford school necessity i.e. stationeries, school fee, uniform. Help with computer/internet and social media management. We are also looking for volunteers willing to help our organization more on computer/internet usage and how to properly manage our social Medias. NOTE it’s not a must for volunteers to be an expert on the issue, we are also looking for ideas

Freedom Education Foundation is a non profit organization officially formed in 2019.
Our organization is located in Moshi, Kilimanjaro. Our main focus is serving poor community in Tanzania mainly in the rural areas where challenges of poverty are extremely high. Freedom Education Foundation [FEF] strongly believes in the power of education in fighting poverty, our ultimate goal is to help every child go to school and helping parents and teachers create effective learning and nurture children in their learning. So far we’ve been successful as most of our projects have helped our community.
Any volunteer willing to support our organization is welcomed at FEF as we believe in helping the community is all about "WE" and not "ME"
