Volunteers will help with our food distribution operation on Thursdays. Duties vary from stocking shelves, picking food orders, check-in of clients and repackaging food items for distribution. In the thrift store, we have opportunities for volunteers to sort and price donated goods, as well as assisting shoppers with locating items and finalizing their purchases.

2 Shifts

  • 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM
    Help with setup and food dstribution on Thursdays
  • 01:30 PM to 04:15 PM
    Help with food distribution and shut down on Thursdays

Mission Statement

The mission of God's Pantry is to provide the residents of our area primarily with food to provide hunger relief and nutrition. Hygiene items, clothing and furniture are available if needed.

Description

God's Pantry has been in operation since 2009, serving the NW Arkansas communities of Garfield, Gateway, Pea Ridge and Avoca. Recently, we initiated a program to begin food assistance for our neighbors in the Seligman, MO area. We operate a food distribution pantry every Thursday from 11 am until 4 pm, as well as a thrift store that is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 am until 3 pm.
