Join our team of volunteers who visit individuals on hospice services to offer a one-on-one caring presence. Our volunteers spend time listening to stories, building relationships, doing crafts, helping with simple chores, and other activities that make a huge difference in the lives of people with terminal illnesses.
Suncrest is looking for people with pets or certified therapy animals to visit patients in facilities and private homes all across Maricopa county. We match volunteers with patients based on interests, skills, need, and location. While pets are not required to be certified, we do require a copy of current vaccination records, and behavioral assessment.
We would love to meet you and bring you on board to one of our care teams! We provide training and ongoing support to help you grow into this unique role. *Company policy requires all employees and volunteers to undergo the same onboarding requirements, which may include drug testing, TB testing, and criminal background check. For questions, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Rhyan Paxson at 602-633-1828 -or- email@example.com
